I created my own ident for my triller opening as I thought it would make it seem more professional.

My Props and Costumes

I have gathered my own props and had to make an old looking notebook. I had to create several replica pages to use as spares and 'just in case' situations. I have also found a large kitchen knife to use, a tube of fake blood and borrowed a mask and black cloak from my schools drama department as part of the costume.

• I found making the books pages look the same quite hard as I had tea stained the pages so getting them to look identical was hard. But alot of the pictures are all in the exact same place and so is the writing and I think that this will help the continuity of it look okay. And the original note book was a couple of pounds from Wilkinson.
• The knife was easy to find as we had a set of them at home so I just had to check that it was okay to take one.
• For the fake blood I planned on making my own mixure up using corn flour, water and red food colouring. But on the day of filming I found a tube of it left over from halloween so I decided to use that instead.
• I spoke to the drama department on Friday (which I admit I did leave it very late and I was lucky that they had what I was looking for) and they were happy to lend the mask and cloak to me, but I will have to back later today to check that it is okay for me to borrow them untill Tuesday now but the man i spoke to was lovely so I'm sure it'll all be fine with him.

Weather Planning

The weather for tuesday doesnt seem to be too bad. But because it isnt sunny there could be a slight problem with the lighting, I don't think it will be too much of a problem, and the slight cloudyness could even help create an atmosphere of suspense and tension which would be quite effective. Aslong as it doesnt rain it everything sahould be okay, but looking at this forecast we should be alright. I'm not too bothered about the tempreture but Nina (playing my main character) will probably get very cold so I'll make sure I bring a coat for her to wear while we are standing around.

On my original filming day it did rain so if i had filmed I may of had to cut it short due to the weather so hopefully this won't happen tomorrow and filming can continue as planned.

Filming Problems

I had originally planned to do my filming on Friday (November 29th) but I was unable to film on this day as a friend was unable to help me out with driving after attending an over run hospital appointment. Althought this wasnt his fault it has set my very far behind and now I'm going to haver to work extra hard to get caught up. I have now planned and organised with 3 other people to film tomorrow (December 3rd) and have organised with the school to get this day off aswell. Having friday off has actually really helped me though as it meant I was able to fine tune my props and make sure everything is in place to film on Tuesday, so at first not filmihg was a set back but i used my time off wisely and managed to sort out lots of things that i woudklknt of had the chance to do if I hadnt had this time off.
